Generate and lead entrepreneurial and sustainable service projects in diverse organizational contexts to promote integral well-being with a missionary vision
As a former Stewardship and Trust director of the Grenada Conference I have been conducting workshops, seminars and training to help my members, colleagues, conference, community people and by extension my nation to develop strong financial principles.
The training combined Goal 1 (how to end poverty now) and Goal 4 (Quality education for all) from the sustainability goals of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. There is another component to the training: Motivation to improve financial behaviour competence skills, how to improve self-esteem which is self-assuredness that can lead to better financial behaviour of individuals and also resilience and flexibility that can ignite appropriate behaviours under difficult situation.
This training will be incorporated with future cohorts. I also participated in a feeding program with the ministry team from the Eastern District 1 and the Grenada Conference of SDA
One of the essential tools in addressing poverty is education, and Goal 4 calls for Quality Education for all and presents education as a life-long learning goal. Education is essential in addressing and providing opportunities to improve the financial position of the poor. Being versed in personal finance management is critical. I plan to develop and present a financial wellness seminar in the St. George University with the hope of equipping a group of missionary students with an understanding of how to live fiscally responsible lives in order to be free to do mission work for God.
