As part of my research based on financial behaviour which is universal, I engaged with several individuals, whose feedback assisted in the design of the instrument. The instrument was designed to help or equip each SDA member and non-SDA individual with an understanding of how their financial behaviour manifests itself, how to regulate them, and their impact on their lives and that of others. The same took place both in English and Spanish and in multiple countries (The United State, Canada, Grenada and Mexico)

Ultimately, over 200 individuals participated in the questionnaire which additionally provided an occasion to identify and appreciate the diversity of the cultures.

I am thankful that this PhD in Business Administration has two components to it. It is bilingual which means it in-cooperates English and Spanish. When I started off with the program I had to learn basic Spanish in order to make my study more meaningful. The majority of UM professors who taught me were bilingual. Dr. Karla translated for Dr. Omar, when she was not clear she will ask him in Spanish. That interaction in class helped me to grasp a few sentences in class

I shared the findings of this research in a presentation at the 12th Biennial SDA Business Teacher International Conference hosted by Andrews University. I also presented my Skepsis and Anaptyxis to The University of Montemorelos on two separate occasions. This study adds to the body of research which indicates that Financial Behaviour can be improved, not only in the business, academics and personal sphere but in the ecclesiastical setting as well.
